How to Find and Win More Local Scholarships
Local scholarships have less competition and should be a priority for all college-bound students.
All my winning scholarship secrets are revealed right here >>
Hi all! Many students gravitate towards the big, national scholarships (like the Coca-Cola Scholarship) because of the high amount of the award money offered.
What they don’t realize is that with so many students competing for the same award, the competition is fierce, and the chances of winning are lower.
Local scholarships, on the other hand, automatically have less competition because fewer students are eligible to apply for them.
Watch this short video where I explain exactly what I mean about finding and winning more local scholarships:
One more thing: I’m enjoying connecting with parents and students on Twitter and Facebook! I post scholarship articles, tips, advice, and a lot more.

Monica’s ebooks were a huge help for us- also the scholarship spreadsheet available on her site. Definitely a small investment that paid off big for us…my daughter’s first semester is paid through scholarships. We found the local ones to be the most accessible- our career center would send out a weekly email with them listed- local ones didn’t really start coming out until around January- some national ones are earlier in the fall-also get on Monica’s email list– it was a huge help too! We also worked it as a team- I would find them and put them on the spreadsheet then give my daughter reminders of due dates as they came close- all of this is explained in her ebooks.” Mary B.
