[ad_1]

The University of Exeter comes under the Russell Group of Universities and focuses on combining world-class research with high levels of student satisfaction. This institute has more than 27,000 students enrolled in different courses and programmes. Admission to this university is a relatively easy process since the University of Exeter acceptance rate is at 87%. However, several factors affect the admission percentage and can make the application process challenging. Continue reading our guide to find all the essential information you need about the acceptance rate at the University of Exeter.

University Of Exeter Acceptance Rate

When we consider the average University of Exeter acceptance rate under different programmes and varying courses, we arrive at the figure 87%. However, this changes when individual undergraduate and postgraduate applications are taken into account.

The acceptance rate for UG applicants is slightly higher at 89%, whereas that for PG candidates is considerably lower at 75%.

Note that the admission percentage for specific courses can drop even lower. For instance, for MA International Film Business, it is only 43%. Thus, securing a spot for such courses becomes challenging.

What Are The Trends Of the University Of Exeter Acceptance Rate?

Observing the trends of acceptance rates over the years is essential as it gives us an insight into the general tendency of enrolment approved by the university. It also helps us predict if we can expect any sudden changes in the acceptance rate.

Fortunately, this institute’s admission percentage has remained almost constant for more than a decade. Even for the academic year commencing in 2013, the acceptance rate was 87.9%. This gives us a certainty that the admission percentage might not change anytime soon.

How To Get Ahead Of University Of Exeter Acceptance Rate?

Because of the high acceptance rate, it is comparatively easier to acquire a seat at the University of Exeter. Applicants must ensure that they fulfil all the entry requirements accurately and submit the necessary documents well within the deadlines.

But if you’re applying for a course that specifically has a low acceptance rate, you can tackle it by scoring higher than average on English proficiency tests and working on your statement. A glowing recommendation from former teachers or academic counsellors also helps in such cases.

University Of Exeter Entry Requirements

The most assured way of getting a seat at the University of Exeter is to fulfil the entry requirements. Since the university already has a high acceptance rate, an application that checks all boxes will easily go forward. For better reference, look at the detailed list of requirements here:
